Auto Power Off:

Press the 'FUNC' button when turning on the meter to deactivate the Auto Shut Off function.

NCV:

Place the multimeter close to the AC voltage source (no wire is required) and the multimeter will display the voltage and give a corresponding prompt.

HTN full-viewing angle screen, 180 degree viewing angle. Has two LED backlights, Display is brighter than other sellers'. When the measured voltage exceeds 80V or current exceeds 1A, the white backlight will turn orange as a danger warning.

Excellent value and good quality voltmeter especially when bought as a package with the case

Good quality and value. Quick shipment. Did the job finding defective battery in an electric car. Accurate readings I found a defective battery in a group of six batteries. Very happy with the purchase.

Works very good.

This has been great so far. I use it a lot. I use it for measuring capacitors, checking voltages etc. It is especially helpful in identifying Resistors.

It has a lot of cool features. The non-contact voltage checking feature works very well, I have used it a few times now, it is very accurate. I love the blinking input plugs, it is a nice reminder for people who have ADD like me. The leads are Ok quality, not bad.

There is nothing really to complain about. I also like the fact that it turns itself off after like 10 minutes of no use, I have ADD and walk away from things at random. Just bought a soldering iron that turns off too. LOL

The fact you can turn the back screen back light on and off is really nice too. Overall this is a really nice cheap meter. I bought the hard storage case for it and it fits perfectly. I would suggest buying that to help protect your meter. The batteries seem to last a good amount of time too.

My New Multimeter

My HF multimeter gave up the ghost this morning. So, I decided to get a new one from Raydexlights. I was astounded when it arrived the same day. Well done. The meter is well put together, has features my defunct mm did not have. Nice big digital display, easy to read and it even has a backlight, should I need it. A built in flashlight, for Pete's sake! A little back leg so the meter can stand up. Nice. The probes are well made and come with guards for probing in close quarters. A temperature probe that works. A no contact live circuit sensor! Not a lot to dislike here. All in all, I think this meter will do everything I need. We'll see how well she holds up. Stay tuned.

Great Backlight!

Gigantic screen is easily read, even if you're near-blind like me. Backlight appears to STAY ON as long as you want it to. Very handy and sturdy stand. Turns on automatically when you rotate the dial. Pleasant continuity buzzer. Continuity buzzer has NO lag, unlike many others. For those who have no idea what they're doing, lights around input jacks glow in various combinations at different settings to tell you where to plug in . Has a weak flashlight - you might have occasion to use it. Seems to be sturdy enough and well-made. Replacing fuses requires removal of the rubber bang protector, then removal of the back. I didn't think the NCV worked so well, but I would never trust it, or use it anyhow. This is more than enough to take care of 99.9% of home uses. The auto-scaling on this one - which is a good thing if you know something - may confuse newbies. I needed another meter like I needed a hole in the head, but I love the giant screen and BACKLIGHT!
